Simple, yet well-designed, Bala is a modern fitness brand that has reimagined fitness equipment to look good and be fun to use. Bringing Bala’s purpose to life, to destigmatize fitness to help the world continually rediscover the joy to movement, RoAndCo crafted a brand identity, art direction, and an e-commerce experience that infuses a sense of wonder and imagination. Our goal was to bring joy back to movement—making the future of fitness more creative, expressive, and fun.

NAMING

Inspired by the 80s and combining fun with fitness, we came up with the name Balacize for Bala’s exclusive content platform that features colorful sets, playful workouts, and Bala products.

WEB DESIGN

Movement plays a key role throughout the Bala brand —and so we crafted a dynamic web experience for this innovative brand. Floating products and subtle color shifts as you scroll, the Bala website showcases the seamlessness and elegance of their products.

ART DIRECTION

The art direction boldly showcases a fashion-forward sensibility, juxtaposing distinct styling and dreamy, surreal lifestyle imagery with straightforward, utilitarian visuals, culminating in a truly iconic style.

PACKAGING

Putting the innovative design and distinct color palette of the product front and center in the packaging, allowing the product to be the true hero.
